A woman has died after she was struck while changing a tire along the New Jersey Turnpike last weekend, authorities say.
Kristine Freeney-Coleman, 39, of Mount Holly was hit Sunday at 6:11 a.m. after she parked her GMC Envoy and then exited to inspect and possibly change a tire, police said.
Freeney-Coleman parked her vehicle on the right lane near milepost 30.3 in Cherry Hill and then stood by the front driver's side of her GMC Envoy when she was struck.

The driver of the Ford van that struck the Mount Holly woman has not been charged, police said, but an investigation is continuing.
Freeney-Coleman was taken to Cooper University Hospital, Camden, where she died. Police did not have additional information on the time of the death.
