Still Time To Comment On 2022-2023 Cherry Hill School Budget
The public hearing on the budget, which includes nearly $29.6 million in state aid, is scheduled for this week.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Cherry Hill Township Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the 2022-2023 school budget on April 26.
The meeting at the Malberg Administration Building starts at 6:30 p.m.
The initial 2022-2023 school budget of $231,615,122 – a 3.3% increase over the previous school year’s budget – included funding for three teaching staff and nine educational assistant employees to meet the district’s programming needs, an elementary math coach, a high school technology teacher, a technology specialist and additional athletic trainer services.

The initial budget also called for a tax increase of 1.25% or 65.04 on a home assessed at $226,400.
The school district is slated to receive $29,589,448 under Governor Murphy’s proposed budget — a nearly $4.9 million increase over its state aid from the previous fiscal year.

The state deadline for the final adoption of the school budget is May 14.
