Route 38 Reopens After Flooding In Cherry Hill: Police

It was closed earlier in the day due to flooding.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Route 38 has reopened in both directions after it was under flood waters earlier Monday, Cherry Hill police announced.

It had been closed in both directions from Chapel Avenue to Cuthbert Boulevard due to flooding, according to the Cherry Hill Police Department.

The fire department posted an image from the flooding on Route 38 that showed cars becoming stuck in the water and people being rescued from their vehicles.

"Rescue 13, Squrt 1351 and EMS 13 just cleared this flooding incident on Route 38," the fire department said in the post, which can be seen below. "They rescued several trapped occupants, thankfully no one was injured. PLEASE be careful driving."
