Thousands Powerless, Traffic Detours In Place After Overnight Storm In South Jersey
Downed wires and utility poles disrupted traffic.

Thousands of South Jersey residents are still without power after dangerous wind gusts and rain overnight.
Burlington County leads the way with nearly 2,800 customers without service, followed by Camden County with close to 1,500.
In both areas, the vast majority of outages affect PSE&G customers.

As of Tuesday morning, the estimated restoration times sit at between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
In Gloucester County, 1,000 people are without service from Atlantic City Electric. These outages are estimated to be restored by 11 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Road Conditions
Drivers are directed to avoid roads throughout multiple counties on Tuesday morning due to downed trees and other impacts to travel.

Burlington County
- Hartford Road between Garwood Road and Kimberly Drive is closed in Moorestown for a number of downed wires and utility poles. Drivers should avoid the area and take an alternate route.
- Creek Road is closed in Moorestown between Borton Landing Road and McElwee Road after utility poles and wires fell. Drivers should avoid the area and take an alternate route.
- In Florence, W. Front Street is closed between Broad Street and Spring Street after a tree fell with wires across the road. Drivers should take an alternate route.
- In Mount Laurel, S. Church Street is closed between St. David Drive and Academy Drive after utility wires fell. Drivers should avoid the area.
- Stokes Road is closed between Himmelein Road and Mill Street in Medford due to downed telephone poles. The road is estimated to be closed throughout much of Tuesday.
- Hartford Road is closed between Garwood Road and Kimberly Drive in Moorestown due to multiple downed poles and wires. Drivers should avoid the area and take an alternate route.
- Union Landing Road from Hunter Street to Wallace Boulevard is closed due to a traffic issue in Cinnaminson. Drivers should avoid the area and use Taylor's Lane or Riverton Road.
- Brace Road southbound between Connector Road and Munn Lane is estimated to stay closed until 9 p.m. Tuesday night while emergency repairs are being conducted to utility lines. Drivers should anticipate delays and use additional routes if available.
