Tornado Watch Ends For South Jersey: See Details, School Impacts

The potential storm is a "threat to life or property," the National Weather Service said.

UPDATE: The tornado watch has ended, according to the National Weather Service.


A tornado watch was issued until 7 p.m. Monday for multiple counties throughout South Jersey.

Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties are all affected.

The National Weather Service categorizes the risk as "extreme" with an "extraordinary threat to life or property."

  • Haddon Heights School District has canceled all after-school and evening activities on Monday. "Just Kids" is not affected.
  • Cherry Hill Public School after-school and evening activities for Monday are canceled. "SACC" and "Right At School" are not affected.
