Vehicle Thefts, Break-Ins Increase As Cherry Hill Police Urge Caution

Residents should bring valuables and keys inside and lock their car doors to reduce the risk of being a crime victim, police said.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A recent increase in vehicle thefts and burglaries caused Cherry Hill Police to remind residents to lock their cars and take their keys inside.

The police department said Tuesday that there have been more reported vehicles stolen, as well as items taken from vehicles, lately in the township.

"When you leave your vehicle unlocked, and your valuables in plain view, you are much more likely to become a victim of theft," police said.
