Veterinary Clinic Proposed At Former Cherry Hill Pregnancy-Care Center
The vet office, which would provide urgent and wellness care, would take the space of a women's health clinic that has relocated.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — The former site of a women's health clinic in Cherry Hill could become a veterinary-care center.
Dr. Shammi Dhawan, a local practitioner, seeks to open a veterinary clinic at 13 W Ordmond Rd. In May, Dhawan acquired the property from Pregnancy Care Center, which operated a pregnancy care clinic called Options for Women.
The pregnancy-care clinic has moved to the Marlton Pike, under the name Options for Her.

Cherry Hill's Zoning Board is set to hear Dhawan's application at Thursday's meeting.
Dhawan seeks to provide a "full range of veterinary services" at the facility, including medicine, surgery, dentistry and urgent care. The vet center, however, will not offer boarding or kenneling — services that would require additional zoning approvals.
