Voorhees Police Throw the Book at Puppy Monkey Baby

Looks like the Puppy Monkey Baby might have some time to think about its next ad campaign.

Puppy Monkey Baby made a splash during Super Bowl 50 Sunday night, when it made its debut as the mascot for Mountain Dew’s newest drink, Kickstart.

Kickstart combines Mountain Dew, juice and caffeine, and Puppy Monkey Baby combines puppies, monkeys and babies.

The Voorhees Police Department put 3 and 3 together, and came up with a little fun on social media.

“Officers apprehend #puppymonkeybaby for shoplifting #MountainDew today, one of our weirdest arrests to date,” the police department posted on Twitter on Monday.

“You have to love a police department with a sense of humor,” Twitter user TeamWarchyld 398K posted in response. “Great catch!”

“LOL, great catch!” Twitter user T.T. Star responded.

There was no word on motive, charges or bail as of press time.
