Walking To Philly? Why You Might (Temporarily) Need To Change Plans
A temporary change to one of the ways into Philadelphia takes effect Monday, according to the Delaware River Port Authority.
CAMDEN, NJ — If you take the Sixth Street Pedestrian Tunnel, or were planning to use that option as your way of getting to and from Philadelphia for the foreseeable future, keep reading.
Starting Monday and for the two weeks immediately after, the 6th Street Pedestrian Tunnel in Camden, New Jersey, the Delaware River Port Authority said.
The two-week closure is necessary so work crews can perform "necessary" cleaning, concrete repairs, sign installation and drain cleaning, the authority added.
