West Girls' Soccer Falls to Eastern in Group 4 Playoffs
The Lions challenge on defense, but don't have an answer on the other end.
A double-digit save effort by Cherry Hill West keeper Christiana Ogunsami wasn't enough to keep the Lions in the playoffs, as top-seeded Eastern's powerful offense found a few cracks to score a 2-0 win and eliminate West Thursday.
Ogunsami turned away 18 shots on the afternoon, but Eastern's Madison Tiernan, who's Rutgers-bound and ranked as the 51st-best player in the nation, and Jaylyn Thompson both found the back of the net in the first half against No. 16 West.
