Woman Fatally Struck On Route 38 In Cherry Hill: Police
She succumbed to her injuries at the scene after 2 separate vehicles hit her, authorities said.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — A woman was killed after two vehicles struck her on the highway Friday night in Cherry Hill, police said.
The woman was walking in the roadway on Route 38 westbound near Chapel Avenue just before 11:15 p.m., when two separate vehicles struck her, according to Cherry Hill Police Lt. Thomas Leone. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Both vehicles were traveling westbound on Route 38, Leone told Patch.

Police identified the victim as a woman in her 30s.
The Cherry Hill Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit continues to investigate the crash. Police had no additional information available as of this writing.

Route 38 westbound was shut down between Chapel Avenue and Haddonfield Road for several hours after the collision.
