1 Killed When Stolen Car Crashes Into Truck In Cinnaminson: Cops

A car was stolen in Cinnaminson. When police attempted to pull it over, a high-speed chase ensued that ended with one fatality.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The passenger in a stolen car was killed when the car crashed into a tractor trailer during a high speed chase with police in Cinnaminson Wednesday morning, authorities announced.

The car was reportedly stolen out of Cinnaminson, and when police attempted to pull it over on Wednesday morning, a chase ensued, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said Wednesday evening.

During the chase, the car rear-ended a tractor trailer while speeding on Route 130 in Cinnaminson at about 10:30 a.m., according to Coffina.

The passenger in the car was pronounced dead on the scene. Their identity wasn’t released on Wednesday, pending notification of next-of-kin.

The driver was admitted to to Cooper University Hospital in Camden in critical condition. Their identity wasn’t released because they are a juvenile. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
