10 Officials, 1 Businessperson With Burlington County Ties Tapped to Aid Christie's Campaign

Shortly after he publicly announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for president in next year’s election, the campaign for Governor Chris Christie named announced more than 200 New Jersey residents – elected officials and businesspersons – have been tapped to help the governor is his bid for the White House.

A total of 11 of those named have ties to Burlington County in some capacity.

On his Political Leadership team, Christie named the following officials who represent Burlington County:

• Tom MacArthur, Congressmen, NJ-03
• Diane B. Allen, State Senator, District 7
• Bill Layton, Chairman, Burlington County
• Larry Chatzidakis, Committeeman, Burlington County
• Mary Ellen Lister, Committeewoman, Burlington County
• Jean Stanfield, Sheriff, Burlington County
• Tim Tyler, Clerk, Burlington County
• Bruce Garganio, Freeholder, Burlington County
• Mary Ann O’Brien, Freeholder, Burlington County
• Joe Donnelly, Freeholder, Burlington County

Nick Menas, of Fox Rothschild LLP in Medford, was named to the Financial Leadership team, which was also created on Tuesday.

The campaign has a mailing address of a Post Office Box in Morristown, and noted that individuals named for the financial leadership team are doing so in a personal capacity and are not representative of his or her company. Business names were provided for convenience.
