2 Arrested For Selling Heroin In Burlington County: Police

A tip from a concerned resident resulted in the arrests of two men and the seizure of heroin that was being sold on Route 70.

EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ - A resident’s tip has resulted in the arrests of two men police say were selling heroin in Burlington County.

The concerned citizen contacted the Evesham Township Police Department on Dec. 14 to tell them about heroin that was being sold near a business on the 700 block of Route 70.

An ensuing investigation resulted in the arrests of two men and the seizure of a quantity of heroin that was found in their car, police said.

Alexander Matos, 26, of Pennsauken, and 27-year-old Juan Cruz were both charged with third-degree distribution and possession of heroin. They were both lodged in the Burlington County Jail.
