2 Fatal Crashes In 2 Hours In Burlington County: Police
The first incident killed a driver, while the second took a pedestrian's life, authorities said.
BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Two separate deadly crashes occurred only hours apart Friday in Burlington County, officials said.
The first collision took the life of Frank C. Parolari, according to State Police. Parolari, 64, of New Egypt, was an accomplished harness trainer and driver, according to his obituary. He later ran maintenance on a local farm and owned Full Circle Training Stables in New Egypt.
Police responded to the crash that killed Parolari at 5:49 p.m. Friday on Interstate 295 in Florence Township. Based on a preliminary investigation, Parolari was traveling northbound when his Dodge pickup ran off the roadway and hit multiple trees, according to State Police Tpr. Troy McNair.

The accident remains under investigation, McNair told Patch.
Later that evening, a crash in Mount Holly killed a pedestrian, according to the state's fatal crash database. The collision occurred at 7:29 p.m. on Route 38 in Mount Holly.

Twenty-four people have died from crashes so far this year in Burlington County, according to state data. At this time in 2022, the county sustained 44 reported deaths from traffic accidents.
