$20K Reward Offered for Information on Person Who Shot at South Jersey Cop

A Pemberton Police officer was on patrol in the township when someone shot at him, hitting his car and barely missing him.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for for information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of the individual(s) responsible for shooting at a police officer in South Jersey last year, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office said Friday morning.

At around 3:50 p.m. on Sept. 24, 2014, a Pemberton Police Officer was shot at while on patrol in the Sunbury Village section of the township. His car was hit, and the bullet just barely missed the officer.

The NJ Cop Shot Program, through the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association, is offering the reward.
