2016 Summer Olympics: Cinnaminson Native to Compete in Men's Eight
Steve Kasprzyk graduated from Holy Cross High School, and began rowing when he was in college.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- A Holy Cross High School graduate from Cinnaminson is looking to bring home Olympic Gold this summer.
Steve Kasprzyk will compete in the Men’s Eight rowing event at the Summer Olympics in Rio next month.
He will compete alongside Austin Hack (Old Lyme, Conn.),Rob Munn (Redmond, Wash.), Mike DiSanto (Boston, Mass.), Glenn Ochal (Philadelphia, Pa.), Alex Karwoski (Hollis, N.H.), Hans Struzyna (Kirkland, Wash.) and Sam Dommer (Folsom, Calif.) following their first place finish in Switzerland in May.

The 34-year-old Drexel University graduate began rowing when he was in school at Drexel, and has spent a total of seven years on the men’s national team. He is being coached by Luke McGee and Bryan Volpenhein, and is training in Princeton.
He’s won three gold medals in international competitions, and a gold medal at the 2013 USRowing National Championships, according to usrowing.org.

The summer games run from Aug. 5-21.
