2nd Annual Nichols Family Walk for TBI in Cinnaminson Next Month

All proceeds from the walk will benefit Holton's Heroes, which helps the families of children who suffer from TBI.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- The Nichols Family will continue its battle against Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with its second annual TBI Walk to support Holton’s Heroes at Memorial Park on Saturday, April 30, the family said Thursday morning.

The walk is held in memory of Jeffrey Nichols, who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) when he fell in 2013. He died the following April, three days after his daughter, Lily, won $10,000 on the kids edition of the nationally televised cooking game show “Chopped!”

Registration on the day of the walk is at 9 a.m., with the walk set to begin at 10 a.m. Cost is $10 for adults, $3 for children. Shirts are also available for $10 the day of the walk. Pre-registration is also available by emailing NicholsFamilyTBIWalk@yahoo.com.

All proceeds raised will be donated to Holton’s Heroes, a non-profit organization that helps support children and family affected by post-birth TBI..

The organization was started by Eric and Angela Weingrad, whose son Holton suffered from post-birth TBI.
