500 Atlantic City Electric Customers Still Without Power on Thursday
The electric company is working to get power restored to those who are still powerless.

Atlantic City Electric (ACE) continues to work around the clock as safely and quickly as possible to restore the remaining customers that lost power due to the severe thunderstorms that passed through the region on Wednesday, the electric company said on Thursday.
In addition to internal crews, Atlantic City Electric has overhead line contractors and crews from its sister utility Pepco assisting in the restoration effort.
About 500 customers remain without service in the hardest hit areas of Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties, according to the electric company.

Most of these customers were expected to be have their power back by Thursday night, with some expected to have power by noon on Friday at the latest.
As ofn Thursday afternoon, 33,000 Atlantic City Electric customers have had their power restored, the electric company said.

Crews are working diligently to repair the electric infrastructure damaged by the storm in order to provide power to the remaining customers without service.
