55 Gallons of Waste Oil Spilled in Cinnaminson Farm Preserve: Police

The spill took place in January, and was contained before it could spread into the Delaware River. State Park Police are investigating.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- New Jersey State Park Police are asking for the public’s help with information regarding the illegal dumping of 55 gallons of waste oil in Cinnaminson.

The incident took place in a marsh area of the Taylor's Farm Preserve in Cinnaminson sometime around Jan. 9, police said.

The oil was dumped into the water in the area of an observation platform, but was quickly discovered and contained by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), before it could spread into the Delaware River.
