Bill Helps Keep Cinnaminson Company In Business, Kim Says
Other Burlington County employers would also receive funding for similar purposes with the bill, according to U.S. Rep. Andy Kim.
BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — A bill recently passed by the U.S. House may allow several Burlington County employers to receive federal funding to help keep their workforce intact, U.S. Rep. Andy Kim said.
The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 must still be passed by the U.S. Senate and ultimately signed by President Joe Biden, according to Kim.

- An increase of $130 million in funding for various submarine programs, which will support operations at DC Fabricators in Florence, Champion Fasteners in Lumberton, Garvey Precision Machine in Willingboro, Sea Box in Cinnaminson among others
- $197.5 million for a program offered at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst along with a provision to allow the NJ Guard and Air Force at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst that would fully transition a mission to a new higher-tech one
- $28 million for the refurbishment and upgrade of a low noise amplifier to improve the defense of naval destroyers, which Kim said would "protect and sustain dozens of good-paying jobs at the Lockheed Martin Moorestown facility, which the state of New Jersey says is the one of the town's largest private employers
"I’m glad that this bill prioritizes people," Kim said.
