The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services launched National Breastfeeding Awareness Month. The goal is to empower women to commit to breastfeeding by highlighting new research showing that babies who are exclusively breastfed for six months are less likely to develop ear infections, diarrhea and respiratory illnesses, and may be less likely to develop childhood obesity.
Established in 1997, Lightbridge Academy provides early education and child care to children ages six weeks through pre-K, as well as special programming for children up to 10 years of age. This includes back-up care, school holidays, and summer camp.
