Bulk Trash Collection In Cinnaminson Resumes Next Month

Bulk trash pickup was temporarily halted while Republic Services deals with the coronavirus pandemic.

CINNAMINSON, NJ - Bulk trash collection will resume its normal schedule in Cinnaminson on June 3 and 4, township officials said Wednesday morning.

It had been interrupted as the township’s trash collector, Republic Services, was hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic has not impacted regular trash collection.

Items considered bulk trash include furniture, mattresses, carpet cut in 4’ sections or less, outdoor furniture, dismantled playsets, exercise equipment and any items that don’t fit into an empty trash can.

Items which will not be accepted include, but are not limited to, recyclables, grass clippings, garbage bags, earthy materials, hazmat materials, white goods/ metal and appliances.

Bulk trash is dropped off at the Department of Public Works Self-service location at 1609 Union Landing Road. Visit thetownship’s website for the full bulk collection schedule and additional information.

“Republic Services will continue to communicate any potential collection modifications so residents may be notified accordingly,” township officials said in a statement. “We appreciate your patience and understanding while we experience some delays and collectively endure these unprecedented conditions.”
