Sex Chats With 2nd Child Victim Land BurlCo Man In Jail Again: Police

MEDFORD, NJ — For the second time in two months, a Burlington County man faces charges for having sexual chats with a child, authorities said. This time, he might get sent down South.

Kerollos Mena, 26, engaged in sexually explicit digital conversations with a 13-year-old Louisiana girl, officials said. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office charged him Tuesday with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Medford police arrested Mena at his Oakwood Drive home on Wednesday. He was charged as a fugitive and placed in the Burlington County Jail, pending extradition to Louisiana.

Mena was charged with similar offenses March 20 after exchanging sexual messages online with a 13-year-old girl who lived in Maryland, authorities said. Read more: Burlington Co. Man Lured Child, Solicited Nude Pics From Her: Police

The man communicated with the Maryland victim over the course of several months, according to law enforcement. During that time, Mena solicited nude images from the girl, described sexual activities, sent her obscene material and requested that she meet with him, police said.

Mena was arrested in Burlington County after authorities identified him as a Medford resident. He was subsequently released, pending trial.

Last week, Medford authorities the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana, believing that one of Mena's victims lived in their jurisdiction. The sheriff's office found that he had been soliciting a minor and sharing inappropriate pictures with her, JPSO Cpt. Jason Rivarde told Patch.

It wasn't immediately clear when or for how long Mena communicated with the victim.
