Man Had Over 1K Child Porn Images, Videos: Burlington Co. Prosecutor

WILLINGBORO, NJ — A Willingboro man had more than 1,000 images and videos containing child pornography, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office (BCPO).

Marcus Lee, 33, was charged Monday with possession of child sexual abuse material after authorities searched his home.

The investigation began after the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children alerted the BCPO about Lee's alleged online activities. Investigators found that Lee maintained online accounts that stored more than 1,000 files containing child pornography.

Authorities executed a search warrant at his home Monday. They seized multiple electronic devices, which the BCPO's High-Tech Crimes Unit will examine.

A preliminary investigation of Lee's cell phone revealed multiple files with child pornography, the BCPO said.

Lee was arrested on Monday. He was released from custody after his first court appearance.
