Burlington County Animal Shelter Waiving Adoption Fees On Saturday

The Burlington County Animal Shelter will participate in in NBC10’s “Clear the Shelters” event on Saturday, Aug. 19, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. county officials said this week. Last year, the effort — which is organized by NBC Owned Television Stations and Telemundo — helped 54,000 animals in need nationwide find their forever homes. In Burlington County, 57 animals found homes during the one-day event.

"In honor of this year's event, the Burlington County Animal Shelter is waiving all adoption fees for approved applicants this Saturday," Burlington County Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio said. “I ask the residents of Burlington County to always remember to adopt not shop. Let’s break last year’s record and find even more animals loving forever homes this year.”
