Burlington County College Offers Window Course With Job Interview
The course guarantees an interview at Castle Windows in Mount Laurel.

Registration began this week for Burlington County College’s new certificate program, Window Installation Technician, which includes a guaranteed job interview at Castle Windows in Mount Laurel upon successful completion.
“It is truly rewarding to watch students complete a course and have direct opportunities in the workforce, which is what will happen with this partnership between Castle Windows and Burlington County College,” Interim College President Dr. David Spang said. “As the only higher education institution with roots in Burlington County, we are very committed to developing partnerships and training opportunities that will directly benefit our students and residents. BCC is here to help prepare them for good, well-paying jobs.”
Students will learn how to install vinyl replacement windows, doors, and patio sliders, among other specialty doors during the 30-session course that combines lecture and hands-on.

“Castle Windows has a need to find local talent to expand its rapidly growing installation technician department, so we are working closely with the local college, BCC, to develop new certified window and door technicians,” Castle Windows President Chris Cardillo said. “As the demand of building materials continues to increase with the number of new home construction projects, proficiency in home improvement skills, like window installation, should prove to be helpful in securing a successful career.”
“Creating new educational training programs is the best way to prepare Burlington County residents for the jobs of today and tomorrow,” Burlington County Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio said. “Similar courses with Radwell International led to new jobs for our residents and I expect these types of partnerships to continue to grow in Burlington County.”

Last year, the college and Radwell partnered to offer two courses with guaranteed job interviews to meet the need for skilled workers in the industry in electronic repair and industrial automation.
“These are exciting partnerships with excellent corporate partners that create local employment opportunities for our community,” Roy Miller, Dean of Burlington County College’s Corporate College and Continuing Education program, said. “We look forward to preparing a strong pool of qualified candidates ready for new jobs.”
The college also offers Industrial Electronics Test/Repair Technician course, which comes with a guaranteed interview at Radwell International, again this spring.
