E-Bike Rider Killed In Burlington County Crash With Car: Police
The driver remained on location, and the collision remains under investigation, authorities said.
BURLINGTON, NJ — A man sustained fatal injuries after his electric bicycle collided with a car in the City of Burlington, officials said.
Ivan Makaruha, 35, of Burlington, died Monday — four days after the crash — according to police. The incident remains under investigation, with no charges announced as of Thursday morning.
The crash occurred at about 7:30 a.m. Sept. 19 on the 1100 block of East Pearl Street, police said. After officers arrived, Makaruha was flown to Cooper Trauma Center in Camden with extensive injuries, according to law enforcement.

The driver remained on location. Police don't believe that drugs or alcohol played a factor in the collision.
