A GoFundMe launched to assist one of the displaced families. Asherah and Jamal Bashir lost everything in the blaze, from family memorabilia to inventory for their small businesses, according to the digital fundraiser.

"All of a sudden, a family of 5 will now have to find somewhere else to live and raise their family," the GoFundMe says. "With struggles within the housing market, Jamal and Asherah worked very hard to get into their new home after a year of trials and tribulations."
