Burlington County Man Charged With Child Porn Possession: Cops

Dino Fiabane was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at his home Friday morning.

A South Jersey man has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, authorities announced.

Dino Fiabane, 73, of Lumberton, has been charged with one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Lumberton Township Police Chief Nicholas Peditto announced.

He was arrested Friday morning following the execution of a search warrant at his home. During the search, authorities said they seized multiple computers, cell phones, external hard drives and other digital storage devices.

A preliminary review of the devices by the High-Tech Crimes Unit detectives revealed child pornography images, according to authorities.

The investigation began late last year after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified the prosecutor’s office of Fiabane’s online search activities, authorities said.

The investigation was conducted by the BCPO High-Tech Crimes Unit, with assistance from the New Jersey State Police Digital Technology Investigations Unit, the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, and the Lumberton Township Police Department.

The lead investigator is BCPO Detective Kevin Sobotka. The Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit is a member of the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and the New Jersey State Police Cyber Terrorism Task Force.
