Burlington County Man Charged With Sexual Assault of Two Children
The Willingboro man was charged with assaulting two children who attended a daycare run out of his home.

A 54-year-old Willlingboro man has been charged with sexually assaulting two children under the age of 12 who were attending a daycare run out of his home, Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Willingboro Director of Public Safety Gregory Rucker announced on Thursday.
Dennis Alston was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault (first degree) and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child (second degree).
Alston’s wife, who is now deceased, provided licensed daycare in their residence under the business name Home Sweet Home.

A parent of two children who attended the daycare reported to police that the children said Alston forced them to commit sexual acts more than once between January and August of 2013.
Alston was apprehended on Sept. 9 and was lodged in the Burlington County Jail on $300,000 bail.

Investigators urge anyone who believes Alston may have had inappropriate conduct with other individuals to call the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Unit at 609-265-5879.
The investigation was conducted by detectives from the Willingboro Township Police Department and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.
