Burlington County Man Trafficked Guns From Ohio to NJ to Sell to Criminals: Authorities

Fr'Neil Hickson is accused of participating in a scheme that brought guns from Ohio to New Jersey to sell to drug dealers and other felons.

A Burlington County man has been indicted on charges of selling guns to criminals in South Jersey, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman said on Wednesday.

Fr’Neil Hickson, 36, a/k/a “Philly,” of Willingboro, was charged by indictment with one count of dealing in firearms without a federal firearms license, one count of conspiracy to deal in firearms and transport firearms interstate for sale without a license, and one count of possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

Police say Hickson conspired with Joshua Jackson, 35, a/k/a “Apple, a/k/a “Trent,” of Willingboro and Columbus, Ohio; and Terrance Laboo, 43, a/k/a “Terrance Reeves,” a/k/a “Mus,” of Oaklyn, New Jersey, to deal in firearms without a federal firearms license, according to documents filed in the case and statements made in court.

Jackson is accused of bringing them into the state in rented cars, while Berry is said to have transported them via  Greyhound buses.

The guns were then sold to criminals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Camden and Mount Laurel, New Jersey, police said.

Police say Berry carried multiple guns in duffle bags. He delivered them to Hickson and Laboo, who then allegedly sold the guns to drug dealers and other felons.

Hickson also got guns  from other sources in Virginia and Pennsylvania and transported them back to New Jersey for unlicensed sales to his customers, police said.

Jackson and Laboo previously pleaded guilty to to dealing in firearms without a license, conspiracy to deal in firearms without a license, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

Both await sentencing in July.
