Burlington County Pets Can Meet Santa Dec. 7

The Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter are offering pet/family photos with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Burlington County pet owners can bring their animals to meet Santa this weekend.

The Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter are offering pet/family photos with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Photos will be taken at the Burlington County Animal Shelter at 35 Academy Drive in the County Facilities Complex off Woodlane Road in Westampton, for a minimum donation of $3.

All donations for the photos are used to improve the welfare of the animals at the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

Professional photographer Lee Feldstein will be taking high-resolution photos that are suitable for framing or turning into holiday cards.

“We’ll also be having a bake sale, so people can enjoy holiday treats while they’re waiting to get their photos taken,” Penny Legg, Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter President, said. “We’ll also be selling dog coats and sweaters, as well as dog toys. All the money we raise goes directly to help the shelter animals, including paying for medical care and buying them special food and toys.

“Last year was a huge hit with the families and their pets. Everyone loved their pictures and we sold out of many of our baked goods.”

Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization that works with the shelter to care for animals at the shelter and place them in adoptive homes. For more information, visit: www.friendsofbcas.org.
