Burlington County Woman's Alleged Prostitution Scam Sent Strangers to Wrong Homes

A Burlington County woman has been charged with prostitution after she took money from would-be clients and sent them to wrong addresses, the Burlington County Times reports.
Ashley Briddle, 22, was arrested following an undercover operation, according to the report. She was then turned over to Palmyra Police for an outstanding warrant. She was lodged in the Atlantic County Jail in Mays Landing on $889 bail.
The investigation began after police began to receive reports of strange men entering homes in the Clifton Mill neighborhood in which she lived, according to philly.com. After several residents reported incidents of strange men knocking on doors, looking for a woman who had promised sex.

Detectives were able to find Briddle online and arrest her following an undercover investigation, according to the report.
“Ashley Briddle’s reckless behavior could have easily resulted in a resident of Clifton Mill being assaulted or worse,” Bordentown Police Chief Frank Nucera Jr. told philly.com.
