Burlington County Woman Charged With Stealing $15,000 in Jewelry From Employer's Home

She was working as a nanny at the time of the thefts, police say.

A Burlington County woman stands accused of stealing $15,000 in cash and jewelry from her employer while serving as a nanny.

Emily Greatrex, 25, of Mount Laurel, is charged with second-degree theft, police said on Tuesday.

She allegedly stole cash and jewelry from her employer in Evesham Township between February and May of this year.

After the family contacted police, detectives say they found pictures of Greatrex online, wearing the victim’s stolen items.

Detectives also say they found several of the stolen items at nearby establishments that buy gold, and that transactions show that Greatrex sold the items to those places.

She was released after posting $5,000 bail.
