Burlington County Woman Killed In Crash; Police Officer In Critical Condition
The accident took place Friday morning.

A 27-year-old woman from Burlington County was killed when the car in which she was a passenger struck a utility pole on West Front Street in Florence early Friday morning, Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Florence Township Police Chief John A. Bunce said.
Ariana Williams, of Florence, was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash, which occurred around 2:10 a.m.
Justin Rodriguez, 25, was driving, and was ejected from the Acura Integra upon impact. He was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where he is listed in critical condition.

Rodriguez is a Burlington Township Police officer who was not on duty and was driving his personal car, police said.
The preliminary investigation revealed that speed was a factor in the crash. Blood drawn from Rodriguez is pending toxicology testing.

The accident is under investigation, and no charges had been filed as of Friday afternoon.
