BROOKLAWN, NJ — A Camden man was arrested earlier this week on charges he robbed the Wells Fargo bank along U.S. Route 130 in Brooklawn, the <a href="https://camdencountypros.org/camden-man-charged-in-brooklawn-bank-robbery/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Camden County Prosecutor</a> said. On March 8, Phillip Jones handed a bank teller a note that demanded the employee give him money and indicated he had a gun, authorities said. After taking about $3,000 from the bank, Jones took off on foot but was arrested a short time and a short distance away from the bank by the Gloucester City Police Department, the prosecutor said. Jones was charged with first-degree robbery, arrested, and sent to the Camden County Prison to await a detention hearing in county court, according to authorities.
