CAMPBELL CEO AND EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM TO KICK OFF WEEK OF SERVICE BY PREPARING MEALS AT CATHEDRAL KITCHEN
Event is One of 70 Employee Volunteer Projects During Make a Difference Week

Campbell President and CEO Denise Morrison (Mercer County) and Executive Assistant Karen Lewis (Salem County) volunteered with the Campbell executive leadership team on Monday at the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden, N.J., to kick off Make a Difference Week, the company’s annual week of volunteer service. The team worked with Cathedral Kitchen’s Culinary Arts Training Program students to prepare 1,000 meals and fruit cups for dinner guests, Volunteers of America shelter residents and Urban Promise students.
CAMDEN, N.J., April 1, 2016 – Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) executives will prepare meals for Camden residents at Cathedral Kitchen on Monday, April 4, to kick off Make a Difference Week, the company’s annual week of volunteer service. President and CEO Denise Morrison and the Campbell leadership team will work with Cathedral Kitchen chefs and Culinary Arts Training program students to prepare 1,000 meals and fruit cups for Cathedral Kitchen guests, Volunteers of America shelter residents and Urban Promise students.
Make a Difference Week will be held April 11-15. During the week, approximately 3,700 Campbell employees will participate in 70 projects across 16 of the company’s U.S. locations. Projects are focused on Campbell’s commitment to building healthy communities in the cities where the company operates.The Cathedral Kitchen serves more than 102,000 meals each year to Camden’s most-at risk residents. In addition, the organization enrolls 60 students a year in its Culinary Arts and Baking Arts Training programs, operates a social enterprise catering business and manages a public restaurant, CK Café. Campbell has partnered with the Cathedral Kitchen for more than 20 years, providing more than $200,000 in grants over the past five years and approximately 200 volunteer hours annually.
