Center Offers Help To Burlington County Women In Financial Need
Burlington County women who suddenly are faced with financial independence can seek help from the Women's Opportunity Center.
DELRAN, NJ — The coronavirus pandemic isn’t just a health and financial pandemic; it’s also proving to be a strain on relationships, including those of married couples.
Women going through a divorce can find help through the Women’s Opportunity Center in Delran. The center offers help for women who no longer receive financial support due to divorce, death or the disability of a spouse, according to burlingtonresourcenet.org.
Its grant-funded Displaced Homemaker Program helps women find ways to gain economic independence through education, networking and other avenues.

To be eligible for services, a woman must be divorced or separated, or have a spouse that was recently disabled or recently died. Women can also seek help after being separated from a live-in partner.
