Cherry Hill Man Sentenced for Defrauding Burlington County Woman Out of $5,000

A Cherry Hill man who has a documented history of bigamy and sexual assault was sentenced to three years in state prison for defrauding a Burlington County woman out of $5,000, the Burlington County Times reports.

William Allen Jordan, 50, previously pleaded guilty to third-degree theft by deception and fourth-degree impersonating a government official, according to the report. He was also forced to pay restitution in the amount of $4,383.

Jordan admitted that he started a relationship with Mischele Lewis, 36, of Florence, becoming engaged to her and getting her pregnant before she discovered he had 13 children with multiple women and had been convicted of the sexual assault of a minor.

The man who claimed to be from the United Kingdom and a military drone pilot also tricked her out of $5,000 in wire fraud.
