Church Fire Extinguished In Burlington Co.
A church community is rejoicing after firefighters saved their house of worship from damage.

BEVERLY, NJ — A Burlington County church community is rejoicing after firefighters prevented a fire from damaging their house of worship Tuesday night.
The fire emerged around 9:15 p.m. on the roof of Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Beverly. First responders discovered a gas-fed fire impacting an HVAC unit on the roof.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading to the building, according to Hope Hose Fire Co. No. 2 in Beverly. Crews finished up around 10:45 p.m.

Church leadership was grateful that the fire didn't spread further.
"We had a small fire at the church, but by His grace all is well," the church said on social media. "The sanctuary, classrooms, and every space are still standing."

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Hope Hose Fire Co. responded to the scene with PSE&G and firefighters from nearby communities.
Abundant Life Fellowship Church is located at 4151 Route 130, Beverly.
