Cinnaminson Breaks Ground On Acme Redevelopment Project
The groundbreaking comes two years after Cinnaminson began a redevelopment process at the former Acme site on Route 130 South.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Two years after Cinnaminson began a redevelopment process at the former Acme site on Route 130 South, Township Committee participated in a groundbreaking ceremony at the site.
“Today’s groundbreaking ceremony represents an important milestone for this planned project and is symbolic of the hard work and dedication of the entire Cinnaminson Township team,” Mayor Ryan Horner said. “A project of this size is always a major accomplishment, but continuing to move forward our economic development initiatives amid a global health pandemic is truly extraordinary. We look forward to these new businesses joining our vibrant Route 130 business corridor and bringing additional jobs to our community.”
Acme was the primary tenant on the 14-acre parcel until it closed in 2011. Township Committee began work on a redevelopment plan in November 2018, and named Global Cinnaminson I, LLC (Global) in March 2019. The Planning Board granted preliminary and final site plan approval for the proposed project in August 2019.
