Cinnaminson Cop Used Police Records For His Personal Gain: Official

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ — Kevin Bohn, a 17-year veteran of the Cinnaminson Police Department, pleaded guilty in Superior Court earlier this week to using police records for personal gain, the Burlington County Acting Prosecutor said.

Bohn, 41, who also lives in Cinnaminson, pleaded to a fourth-degree charge of falsifying or tampering with records, according to authorities.

Bohn "must forfeit his position with the police department and is permanently barred from holding public employment" within the state of New Jersey, authorities said.

An investigation showed Bohn inappropriately used law employment resources to obtain personal information about a woman he met while on the internet and members of her family, according to authorities. He also tried to cover up those actions, according to authorities.

Bohn will be sentenced on Aug. 19, authorities said.
