Cinnaminson Drug Take Back Day Set for Sept. 26
The event provides residents with the chance to properly dispose of expired and unused prescription drugs.

The Cinnaminson Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will host a National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Cinnaminson residents can safely dispose of unused and expired prescription medicines by bringing them to the Cinnaminson Police Department at 900 Manor Road, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The purpose of National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible method of disposing of prescription drugs, while educating the public about the potential abuse of medications.

The proper disposal of prescription drugs keeps them away from those who might make them available for abuse and prevents them from being flushed into the water supply or thrown into the trash and easily found.
