Cinnaminson Firefighters Among Heroes Honored for Saving Moorestown Community House
Cinnaminson was one of seven fire companies from outside Moorestown who responded to the Nov. 17 fire.

Moorestown, NJ -- Six members of the Cinnaminson Volunteer Fire Department were honored for helping the Moorestown Community House survive what could have been a deadly fire last month.
Scott Stavely, Paul McDonough, Matt Deeney, Joseph Maduzia, Matt Kilmer and Matt Geiger were recognized by Moorestown Council during its meeting Monday night at town hall.
Cinnaminson was one of seven fire companies outside Moorestown that responded to the fire on Nov. 17. Thanks to their efforts, none of the 40 people who were in the house at the time of the fire were injured. The Community House has since reopened.

Good Samaritan Eric Tieniber was also honored for his efforts Monday night.
He was driving on Main Street when he saw smoke coming out of the roof of the east wing of the Community House.

Tieniber ran into the burning building to alert the staff and the guests inside the building, who were unaware of what was happening. He then called 9-1-1 and helped evacuate approximately 40 people who were in the building at the time of the fire.
