Cinnaminson Football Team Takes Early Lead, Falls by 1 to Holy Cross
The Pirates suffered their first loss of the season Friday night.

The Cinnaminson High School football team led by three touchdowns at halftime, but Holy Cross came back for a surprising 34-33 win over the Pirates Friday night, according to nj.com.
Shaun Davilla found the end zone three times in the first half, and five times overall.
He scored on a 10-yard run in the first quarter, and threw two touchdown passes in the second to give Cinnaminson a 21-0 halftime lead. The touchdown passes came on a throw of 68 yards to Devon Taylor and 16 yards to Kevin Schoch.

He threw a 59-yard pass to Taylor in the third quarter to give Cinnaminson a 27-0 lead, but Holy Cross scored three times in that quarter to cut the lead to seven.
Holy Cross tied the game in the fourth quarter, but a Davilla 10-yard run gave Cinnaminson a 33-28 lead.

After a failed two-point conversion by the Pirates, Holy Cross scored the winning touchdown on a CJ DeGeorge 5-yard touchdown run.
It was DeGeorge’s second touchdown run of the game. Jeff Undercuffler threw three touchdown passes for Holy Cross.
It was the first loss of the season for the Pirates, who fell to 4-1. Holy Cross improved to 3-2.
