A Cinnaminson High School freshman used a negative experience in a close match to take home the closest win of the night on Monday.

Kevin Schoch earned a 3-2 win over Gabe Dollard in the Cinnaminson wrestling team’s 55-13 win over Rancocas Valley, according to the Burlington County Times.

Schoch picked up the win by fighting Dollard off until the final second. He drew on his experience in a 7-6 loss to Hammonton’s Anthony Roman to figure out what to do in the situation, according to the report.

It was the sixth match of the night and gave Cinnaminson a commanding lead, according to the report.

Cinnaminson improved to 7-0 on the season with the win.
