Cinnaminson High School Baseball Team Advances in Playoffs

The Pirates defeated Point Pleasant Boro, 12-9, on Monday.

Mike McAndrews had a home run and three RBI to help lead the Cinnaminson High School baseball team into the second round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II playoffs, according to nj.com.

Travis Pewor also had three RBI in top-seeded Cinnaminson’s 12-9 win over No. 16 Point Pleasant Boro.

The Pirates jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning, and were up 9-1 after three.

Point Pleasant Boro made a run with four runs in the sixth inning, but it wasn’t enough.

Cinnaminson will host No. 8 Delran in the second round on May 21. Cinnaminson defeated Delran 7-0 on May 7 and 7-5 on May 14.
