Cinnaminson High School Baseball Team Downs Sterling to Advance in Playoffs

Cinnaminson, NJ -- Mike Bednarek was 1-for-3 with a run and two RBI as the sixth-seeded Cinnaminson High School baseball team defeated No. 11 Sterling, 6-2, in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs on Tuesday, according to nj.com.

Jack Conville picked up the win on the mound, striking out two and allowing six hits.

Christian Massara was 1-for-3 with a run and an RBI, and Mike McAndrews was 1-for-2 with a run and an RBI in the win.

Cinnaminson will host No. 14 Collingswood, which upset No. 3 Cedar Creek for its first playoff win in 21 years, in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
