Cinnaminson High School Baseball Team Makes Playoffs

The Pirates are the No. 6 seed in South Jersey Group 2.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- The Cinnaminson High School baseball team begins its quest for South Jersey title at home.

The Pirates are the No. 6 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs, according to the bracket posted on nj.com on Thursday.

Cinnaminson hosts No. 11 Sterling in the first round on Monday, May 23. The winner faces the winner of the game between No. 3 Cedar Creek and No. 14 Collingswood on May 25.

The semifinals are set for May 31. The final is scheduled for June 3.

Cinnaminson (11-10) defeated Sterling (8-13), 15-6, on April 23. The Pirates scored seven runs in the top of the first inning of that game and never looked back.
